PLANNING PROCESS

The 2020 CEDS has been revised in several ways:

• Revised format / structure
• Updated and current demographic and economic data
• Revised descriptive narrative
• Updated SWOT analysis, resilience text, strategic text, and project lists

Southern Tier West contacted the three county planning and development departments, the three county industrial development agencies, the planning and development departments of the three cities in the region, the
workforce development agencies, the major cities, major development groups, and the general public, asking for participation, and for a list of currently planned economic development projects in their jurisdictions. The Southern Tier West Board also was asked for input during the revision process.
